Answers to the questions our clients ask most often.

Client with questions about setting up a company in Cameroon
How long does it take to set up a company?

Timelines depend on the legal form and your file. We process applications quickly, and the Business package includes priority processing. Contact us for a precise timeline for your project.

What do government fees cover and how are they paid?

Government fees are paid in your name through TrésorPay, and you receive the official receipt. Our formation packages are all-inclusive, excluding taxes.

Which legal form should I choose?

A sole proprietorship (Ets) to start alone at low cost, an SARL to partner with others while limiting liability, an SAS for flexibility and investors, an SA for large projects, an SCI for real estate. Our preliminary assessment will guide you.

Can I set up a company from abroad (diaspora / foreign investor)?

Yes. We support residents, the diaspora and foreign investors. The cost may vary depending on your profile, so please state it in the quote form.

What happens if my NIU (tax ID) is inactive?

We reactivate your NIU (individuals or companies) and provide the registration certificate, for 10,000 FCFA.

What is the tax compliance certificate (ACF)?

The ACF proves your company is up to date with its tax obligations. It is often required for public tenders, banks and some partners. We obtain it for you (10,000 FCFA).

Are the prices shown final?

No. Prices are indicative and may vary depending on the project, the location and the client profile (resident, diaspora or foreign). A preliminary assessment sets the exact cost.

How do I pay?

Depending on the package, you pay in one instalment (Essential) or two (Peace of mind, Business). Contact us for accepted payment methods.
